Darren was recommended to me by a family friend.
On contacting him his phone went to Message Bank, but he responded with in a half an hour apologising that when on a roof installing solar panels it was a Safety Risk to answer mobiles.
I briefly outlined to him what I wanted attend too at an investment property located in Toronto and was looking for a quotation. Darren suggested if I were flexible, he could view the job later in the week in the late afternoon on his way back from jobs on the Central Coast. This idea I agreed to.

On the appointed day Darren contacted to me he was running late, but if I were amenable, he would come and view the job. This was not a problem and Darren arrived with in 5 minutes of the revised scheduled appointment. What struck me was his work vehicle and how it was kitted out to enable ease of access to tooling, equipment, and electrical apparatus. Without hesitation Darren removed his work boots before entering the property, which was an early indication of his professionalism and courtesy. Darren proved to be very customer service orientated.

Upon inspecting the job Darren made some suggestions based upon very recent changes in Australian Standards and local distribution supplier rulings. He stated that to save time on changing out the supply board he would preassemble and wire offsite the new distribution enclosures and protective devices to offset site labour costs.

I received a quotation with in three days by email and a phone call to inform me that the quote was higher than anticipated owing to the high cost of one of the multiple phase protection devices required for a cooking rang and oven meeting recent legislative requirements for all final sub circuits having to be on residual current protection.

The quote was acceptable and compared to others Darren’s customer service and professionalism was outstanding.
The afternoon of the change over, the job proceeded very smoothly and with only minimal disruption to the tenants.

Darren undertook Statutory Testing of the new apparatus and provided a copy of the results, prior to cleaning up, vacuuming, and removing rubbish.

I have no hesitation in recommending Darren to perform electrical installations and repairs based on the job that he undertook for me, competently, professionally, coupled with excellent communications throughout the project.
